Olde World Breads is the creation of Erin Peters, whose culinary background includes over two decades of fine dining and Italian cuisine.
In 2008 Erin had the opportunity to work alongside a renowned baker at Haus Elmer in Marienthal, Germany. This experience, coupled with a wide variety of hearty and healthy breads he grew up eating as a youth in Europe, inspired Erin to begin making his own artisanal breads at home.
Encouraged by friends and family, who already enjoyed his homemade breads, pizzas, and crackers, Erin decided to begin baking for the public in 2024. Running a homestead bakery has allowed him valuable time to focus on his young son, but eventually he plans to expand his business to provide handmade specialty breads to local restaurants in addition to his growing clientele.
Olde World Breads creates each loaf to order, incorporating a variety of fresh-milled grains that provide rich flavor, vast health benefits, and optimum freshness.
